The comedic trio of Tito, Vic and Joey is dead serious in its battle for control of the long-running noontime show “Eat Bulaga” against the children of former congressman Romy Jalosjos.
Former Senate President Tito Sotto has conferred with the one the top law firms in the country, DivinaLaw, on a looming legal battle with the Jalosjos children who recently took over management of TAPE Inc.
Senior partner Buko Enrique Dela Cruz posted snaps of Sotto’s recent visit to the DivinaLaw headquarters with the firm’s other abogados.
The Jalosjos children are planning to rebrand Eat Bulaga after 43 years by kicking out TVJ. But Sotto is determined to assert ownership of Eat Bulaga and take the brand and their whole creative team should they be forced to switch to another channel.
The conflict in Eat Bulaga is expected to come to a head next week with the Jalosjos children scheduled to announce their final plans for the program.
