Heaven has gained a new angel.
Chef Margarita Fores is mourning the loss of her mother, Maria “Baby” Araneta Forés who passed away last March 25.
Margarita shared a poignant tribute to her mother on Instagram, posting a portrait of her with the caption, “My Mother. My Rock. My Everything. Maria Araneta Forés, July 28,1938 – March 25,2023.”
The post also revealed that Baby passed away just two days after Margarita’s birthday last March 23.
Friends and followers of Margarita took to the comments section to express their sympathies and offer prayers for the grieving family. Many noted that heaven had gained a new icon with Baby’s passing.
The news of Baby’s passing is undoubtedly a significant loss for Margarita and her family, as well as for Manila’s elite where Baby was a respected figure.
