Gen X and millennial fans of The Corrs were left breathless by the steep prices of concert tickets for the Irish band’s two-night concert at the Araneta Coliseum in October.
PULP Live World, the concert organizer, released ticket prices ahead of the public sale on March 19. The general admission ticket is priced at P3,500, while those who wish to seat in the upper boxes need to shell out either P7,500 or P8,500.
VIP tickets are priced at P15,000, P18,500, and P22,500 for so-called “VVIP” access right in front of the stage. Ticketing charges will be applied on top of the rates.
One fan quoted a line from The Corrs’ hit song, “Radio,” in response to the high ticket prices.
“I will listen to the radio na lang hehehe,” the fan said.
The Corrs was one of the hottest bands of the 90s up to the early 2000s. Their hit songs include: Runaway, All The Love in The World and Breathless.
Tickets to the concert scheduled on October 21 and 22 will be sold in all TicketNet outlets or online via http://ticketnet.com.ph.
