Going green: Bong Consing leads Ayala Group execs in hugging trees

In time for the month of love, Ayala Corp. President and CEO Cezar “Bong” Consing showed how much he cares for the environment by hugging trees for a cause.

Consing led fellow Ayala executives in the tree hugging drive to drum up support for the conglomerate’s special campaign with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).

The C-suite executives gathered at the Ayala Triangle Gardens in Makati for the nationwide “Tree Hugging Day” hosted by the DENR‘s Forest Management Bureau.

“In our own little way, coming here today, hugging the tree— it’s symbolic of the importance we put in the world around us the importance we put in conservation, the importance we put in sustainability, the importance we put in green,” Consing said.

“It’s a green life, we want to lead. It’s a green company, we do lead,” he added.
