Looking for a perfect and meaningful gift this Valentine’s Day?
Patricia Non, founder of the Maginhawa Community Pantry, has an excellent suggestion. She is offering veggie bouquets that cost P1,500 with the proceeds of the sale going to local vegetable farmers.
The veggie bouquets weigh roughly five kilos worth of different vegetables like corn, carrots, sayote, ampalaya, malunggay, onions, and talong are part of rescued vegetables from farmers who are having trouble transporting the goods to marketplaces.
Not only will the veggie bouquets help boost farmers’ income, it will also save the vegetables which will otherwise wilt because of logistics issues.
Shipping to Metro Manila areas costs P15 while payments can be made via Gcash.
