The Sussexes are backing up their talk of doing good by delivering solid numbers reported by the Archewell Foundation from 2020 to 2022.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, also known as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left their position as senior royals in 2020 in the controversial Megxit, claiming that they wanted to have more privacy as they embark on advocacies that they feel strongly about.
The Archewell Foundation’s Impact Report which compiled the organization’s accomplishments in two years hinted that the couple entered into many partnerships in order to achieve their goals.
Among their major milestones was the procurement of 12.66 million COVID vaccines with Global Citizen. The report also claimed that the foundation helped facilitate the entry of 174,497 Afghans and Ukrainians into the US through Operations Allies Welcome and Welcome.US.
The report also showed that Archewell partnered with World Central Kitchen to sponsor 50,000 meals.
Also among the accomplishments listed by the Duke and Duchess through their organization were:
· 7,468 individuals rescued from Afghanistan through our partnership with Human First Coalition.
· 3,673 individuals accessed our resource guide embracing positive masculinity with Equimundo.
· 3 academic fellows addressing society’s most urgent concerns surrounding social media at the Institute for Rebooting Social Media at Harvard University.
· 1 play space built to foster community and healing in Uvalde, Texas.
As a result, Meghan once again made it to the trending topics on Twitter.
