The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) owned by bilyonaryos Henry “Big Boy” Sy, Jr. and Roberto Coyiuto has warned the public against a website soliciting investment for the power grid operator.
In a statement, NGCP said the website, app.ngcpdf.com, is fake. The homepage features a distorted copy of the NGCP logo and requires log-in details for access.
“All our transactions are made through reputable brokerage institutions or local banks. The company’s business processes are found in our official website at www.ngcp.ph,” the power grid operator said.
The public is advised to report suspicious or fraudulent activities related to NGCP directly through hotlines shared by the grid operator or send an email to tipngcp@ngcp.ph.
