Hospitality management group AHG is exploring new resort concepts which it hopes to introduce in the Philippines as part of its potential expansion.
One of these possibilities is to have an urban resort concept, according to AHG and Roxaco Land president and CEO Santi Elizalde said.
“An Anya Resort tucked into a residential building somewhere in Makati, whether it’s BGC, Rockwell or wherever. That would be nice,” he said in an interview with veteran journalist Ces Oreña-Drilon on “Usapang Bilyonaryo” aired on CNN Philippines.
“In Bangkok, which is really apartments and then you have the resort, the lobby is at the bottom but the resort is actually located somewhere in that building. So we are exploring that similar type of concept, he added.
Elizalde said such concepts are becoming popular all over the world.
He said the group is also exploring a luxury, glamping concept which can be located off grid.
“So many different possibilities,” Elizalde said.
Among AHG brands are Anya Resort Tagaytay, Club Punta Fuego, Amara Residences, and Terrazas de Punta Fuego.
