Mama Lou’s sticks up for food service workers, lauds them for their resilience

Amid ongoing discussions about respect for service workers, Mama Lou’s Italian Kitchen reminded the public what service workers have to deal with on a normal basis as they appeal for better treatment and consideration for those working in the food industry.

“Sometimes, people take advantage of those who work in restaurants, hotels, or other service establishments for their own personal agendas. No matter how rude, impolite or bad our guests may be, we should always take the higher ground, just as the server in the video did.

What people in our industry go through is quite challenging. To all food and hospitality workers, thank you for passionately providing your service day in and out,” Mama Lou’s said.

The post came in the wake of a viral video featuring a celebrity who unexpectedly smeared cake and embarrassed the server holding the dessert.
