President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has named Robinsons Land Corporation president and CEO Frederick Go as his adviser on investment and economic affairs, Malacañang announced on Friday.
Presidential Communications Office Secretary Cheloy Garafil confirmed Go’s appointment.
“Robinsons Land president and chief executive officer Frederick Go has been appointed as Presidential Adviser on Investment and Economic Affairs. Rafael Consing Jr. will assist Secretary Go in his office,” Garafil said in a statement.
Consing was previously the chief financial officer and compliance officer of global port operator International Container Terminal Services Inc.
The 52-year old Go graduated from the Ateneo De Manila University with a degree in Management Engineering.
Aside from Robinsons Land, Go is also the chairman of Luzon International Premier Airport Development, which operates Clark International Airport; vice chairman of Robinsons Bank, director of Meralco, and vice chairman of the Philippine Retailers Association.
