A King Air aircraft stalled at one of the runways of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Tuesday morning (January 17), the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said.
In a statement, MIAA said the plane stalled at Runway 13/31 at 10:05 a.m. It was successfully extracted at 10:43 a.m.
The seven passengers and two crew members on board the aircraft were unharmed and assisted by the MIAA Rescue Team.
According to MIAA, clearing operations were conducted to check for possible foreign object debris before clearance was given for the reopening of the runway.
No flights were affected by the stalled aircraft, the airport management said.
