Cebu Governor Gwen Garcia recently called out the management of F Café and Bar for the mauling of international chef Jason Atherton in the wee hours of December 23 inside the restaurant’s premises.
In a report by Sun Star, the governor took issue with Atherton’s injuries and said that it was even more shameful that some of F Café’s personnel allegedly participated in the melee.
In response to the Governor’s condemnation, F Café’s management aired its side and revealed that its CCTV review showed that it was the chef who started the altercation.
In a follow up statement, the management clarified that their original post was not to aggravate the governor or any official but rather to clarify the events surrounding the incident. They said that they were cooperating with the investigation being conducted by the authorities to sort out the problem.
