#SaltBae in hot water for snapping pics with 2022 World Cup trophy

Turkish chef and social media star Nuset Gokce aka #SaltBae recently had a field day interacting with 2022 World Cup champs Team Argentina after a nerve-wracking match with France.

While he treated fans to snaps of himself with team members like Lionel Messi

and even a solo snap holding the trophy, it seems that sports officials are now investigating how he got on the field in the first place.

It seems though that SaltBae is close with the team as he posted snaps when he hosted them at his restaurant for a celebratory meal.

However, officials are baffled as to how he got on the pitch because only team members and heads of state are allowed to carry the trophy.

“Following a review, FIFA has been establishing how individuals gained undue access to the pitch after the closing ceremony at Lusail stadium on 18 December. The appropriate internal action will be taken,” a FIFA spokesperson reportedly said to Sky Sports News when reached for comment.
