Some Eraserheads fans who shelled out P650 for pay-per-view access to the band’s reunion concert expressed dismay upon learning they can only access the livestream via mobile data or a certain telco’s wifi connection.
Disgruntled fans took to social media to vent their frustration about the apparent shady move, saying the telco owned by Manuel V. Pangilinan withheld the crucial information when it offered the pay-to-play access via the dedicated livestream app.
The pay-per-view access to the Eraserheads’ “Ang Huling El Bimbo” concert was sold as an option for the so called #TeamBahay fans unable to attend the concert live at the SMDC Festival Grounds on Thursday (December 22).

“Di nyo man lang in-announce bago nyo kinuha pera namin!,” Twitter user @jerrywestmonzon said.
Another netizen called the pay-pay-per-view option a “scam” after he was restricted from tuning in, while some complained about paying separate fees for mobile data just to watch the livestream on top of the one-time P650 fee.

Others who did get to watch the concert online were dismayed to listen to crackling audio while the 90’s OPM band played their iconic hit songs.
I am using my SMART DATA, but unable to load the live stream. Tried to log out afterwards cannot log-in. REFUND!!! Already reported complain to DTI-FTEB.
