Fans of the iconic British shoemaker Dr. Martens in the Philippines have one last chance to buy footwear at their stores before they shut down for good.
The popular footwear brand announced Friday (December 23) that its stores in the Philippines will only be open until the end of the year.
“It is with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of all Dr. Martens stores in the Philippines. Our last day of operations will be on December 31, 2022,” Dr. Martens announced on social media.
As part of clearing its inventory, Dr. Martens is selling shoes for up to 50% off at its branches at Glorietta 4, SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall and Manila Bay.
Earlier this year, foreign ice cream chain Baskin Robbins also said it will be closing shop in the country by the end of 2022.
