Masakit mang isipin kailangang tanggapin: Ely Buendia contradicts sold out report for Eraserheads concert amid ticket selling spree

Eraserheads frontman Ely Buendia practically debunked initial reports that tickets to his band’s reunion concert have been sold out with an Instagram post telling fans it’s “not too late to buy” tickets.

Hours before the start of the “Ang Huling El Bimbo” concert at the SMDC Festival Grounds Thursday (December 22), Buendia shared a photo of the view from Okada Manila, where he and his band mates were staying. His caption read: “The sun is up, the sky is blue, it’s beautiful, and so are you🎶 COME OUT TO PLAY! Not too late to buy tickets!”

Buendia made the last minute invitation to fans amid a surge in social media posts from netizens who want to sell their concert tickets fast.

Some netizens appear to dread the heavy traffic going to and from the SMDC Festival Grounds, the prospect of standing for hours and the potential logistics nightmare at the venue
.
Tickets are now sold way below their selling price, with one fan offering two platinum section tickets for P10,000, representing a P2,000 discount from the original cost. Another netizen offered two bronze section tickets for P4,500, instead of their original cost of P6,200.
