The Madrigal-owned Molito Lifestyle Center in Alabang is drawing flak on social media for seemingly favoring car owners over customers who ride bikes or have pets.
In various social media posts, netizens claimed that security guards have been driving away customers who bring bikes and animals to the commercial space, claiming potential complaints from tenants.
Bike enthusiast have taken offense at Molito Lifestyle Center’s policy, with some calling for a boycott given how their members have been shooed away.
Some Molito establishments also don’t allow pets even in their al fresco areas because “some costumers have a phobia”.
Won’t be surprised if these weird Molito rules are just the result of Alabang Karens complaining about pets and bikers. https://t.co/G9qUJjPNdp

“By “lifestyle center” Molito really meant it’s for the lifestyle of AAV residents who have cars (usually 3-6 per household), drive each separately for a meal or a cup of coffee, or do errands all within a 3km radius,” one Twitter user said.
Molito is terrible. You know how some "lifestyle centers" are glorified parking lots with amenities? Just look at this shit. Molito took urban design cues from the worst streets in Manila – think Shaw Boulevard etc- and tried to recreate that in Alabang, with extra hate for bikes https://t.co/UgTJEjDsRh
