President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. personally got the commitment from global manufacturing giant Unilever for a P4.7-billion capital infusion to fund its business expansion in the Philippines.
Marcos met with Matt Close, president of the British producer’s global business group, during the EU-ASEAN Business Summit in Brussels, Belgium.
Close confirmed Unilever’s upcoming capital investment worth P4.7 billion for its Manila operations to automate and digitize its local factories and offices.
Unilever owns the brands Dove, Cream Silk, and Close Up, to name a few.
