Veteran banker Octavio Victor Espiritu sheds P12 million BPI shares

A director of Bank of the Philippines (BPI) reduced a sizable amount of his stocks in the Ayala-owned bank.

Former Far East Bank and Trust Co. president Octavio Victor Espiritu sold 120,000 shares at P100 each on December 6.

BPI reached a 52-week high of P105.90 just two weeks earlier.

Espiritu still has P97 million worth of BPI shares remaining in his portfolio.

BPI profits jumped 78 percent year on year to P10.1 billion in the third quarter of 2022.
