Baguio City — Actor Derek Ramsay’s sparkling performance in the third round sparked Time Cargo Logistics’ resurgence and a 15-point lead over Forest Hills in the Am-A division of the 72nd Fil-Am Men’s Invitational.
Ramsay scored 36 to propel Time Cargo’s balanced attack. Teammates David Guangko (27), Renie Floro (26) and Rusty Bayani (26) for 115 and 297 with one round left.
Forest Hills got 29 from general manager Raymond Bunquin, 26 from JB Gosiaco, 25 from Edgar Lee and 22 from Ronnie Littaua for 102 and 282 aggregate.
X1R-Tipsy Pig-Mizuno moved up to third with 269. Marvin Caparros, the PR manager for Mercedes-Benz, led with 31 and got ample support from Raymond Co 26, JB Garcia 26 and Neil Arce 23.
Camp John Hay Golf Club (95-323) remained on top in Fil-A but its lead was cut to only six by Summit Point (105-317). Eight points adrift was Uragun-1 (96-315).
