Filipino restaurants join fundraising efforts to feed families in war-torn Ukraine

This month, the F&B community comes together to help make a change by doing what they do best – feeding people.

Renowned restaurants have put the power of their brands together to support Chef Jose Andres’ World Central Kitchen to raise funds for feeding programs in war-torn Ukraine.

Establishments from Hong Kong, Singapore, and the Philippines have decided to join this worthwhile endeavor.

Among the Filipino F& B players to support the cause are A MANO, Ramen Ron, Gallery by Chele, Margarita Fores’ Lusso, Grace Park and CIBO, Helm, Savage and Ember by Chef Josh Boutwood, Made Nice and Mamou by Raul Fores and Jack Flores, Manam, Metronome, and Toyo Eatery.

Business and consumers hamper climate fight: report

Corporations and consumers are the main obstacle to the emissions cuts needed to keep global warming to the 1.5-degree Celsius limit, researchers said Wednesday, adding that “positive signs” in other areas are not yet enough to meet climate goals.
