Baguio—Time Cargo Logistics Team-2 and E-Sparta paraded a mix of young and veteran stars that worked perfectly as they ended up as joint leaders in Am-A on opening day of the 72nd Fil-Am Men’s Invitational regular tournament at the Baguio Country Club.
Time Cargo, which won the Am-Championship title last year, was led by the 29 of David Guangko, 24 of Rusty Bayani, 19 of Joseph Tambunting and 18 of Renie Floro for the day’s output of 90 points.
That was later matched by E-Sparta, which got 30 points from Chris John Remata, 25 from Ricky Libago, 19 from John Oliver Manda and 16 from Ramon Tubilla.
Forest Hills Team-2 came up with an 84 for solo third. TGIS Davao pooled in an 82 and X1R-TipsyPig-Mizuno assembled a 77.
Greenwater Golfers took the lead in Fil-A after it assembled 119 points at Camp John Hay. Two points down with 117 is Camp John Hay Golf Club and five adrift is Uragun 1 with 114.
Moto came through with an 82 for a three-point lead in Am-C. Baguio Country Club Team-2 amassed 79.
Green Jacket Golf Club checked in with 77 followed by Summit Point Team-2 66 and Januarius Team-2 65.
In Am-E, Bibak NY/NJ/iGolfers Team-2 raced to a seven-point lead after producing 64 points against Team Surigao Siargoao’s 57.
Over at Camp John Hay, Kumpadres scored 103 points to lead the way in Fil-C. Fil-Am League of Golfers Chicago turned in a 90 while Ultra Flite Golf Club had an 85.
