Baguio City — It is going to be an explosive week ahead for the upcoming 72nd Fil-Am Men’s Invitational as defending champion Manila Southwoods will have its hands full when it goes head-to-head against five teams for the coveted Fil-Championship title.
The regular competition of the tournament, the world’s largest amateur spectacle, tees off from December 6 to 11 at the Baguio Country Club and Camp John Hay Golf Club courses.
A bunch of youngsters from the national team pool, headlined by Carl Corpuz, Aidric Chan and Kristoffer Arevalo, is in the roster with junior golfer Shinichi Suzuki and Gabriel Manotoc.
Aside from Manila Southwoods, the other contenders are Team Januarius, Forest Hills, Time Cargo Logistics, X1R-TipsyPig-Mizuno, Riviera-Batangas Barakos and Team SPES.
