Manny Villar took to Instagram to share that the government of Japan has recently awarded him with The Grand Cordon and the Order of the Rising Sun. It’s the most prestigious Japanese decoration for foreign nationals, according to Manny.
He then thanked Emperor Naruhito, His Excellency Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, H.E. Kazuhiko Koshikawa, Ambassador of Japan to the Philippines, and the people of Japan “for this eminent decoration.“
Manny also thanked President Bongbong Marcos who joined him and his family to receive the award.
