Consunji-led DMCI Homes saw sales skyrocket in the third quarter, pushing earnings higher by a quarter to P1.15 billion.
From July to September, DMCI Homes grew sales and reservations by 159 percent to 2,610 units, comprising of 1,473 residential units and 1,137 parking slots.
The strong sales rebound during the quarter was attributed to the launch of two transit-oriented projects, Fortis Residences, under the DMCI Homes Exclusive segment in Makati City, and Sage Residences in Mandaluyong City.
With stronger sales and higher selling prices, DMCI Homes registered a 177 percent spike in its total sales value to P11.7 billion.
“Fortis Residences is particularly exceptional because it will be part of Makati’s next commerce, culture, and recreation hub through the city’s redevelopment plan, called Makati Southwest Gateway,” DMCI Homes president Alfredo Austria said.
“We’re also building an adjacent building that will include office, retail and commercial spaces called One Fortis Plaza, so residents can have easy access to shops, restaurants or even work,” he added.
