Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is one of the most recognizable A-listers in Hollywood right now but he admits that he came from humble roots.
The former WWE legend turned actor recently went back to his old haunt in a Hawaii 711 where he admitted to shoplifting Snickers bars when he was 14 years old. He confessed that while the clerk knew what he was doing, he always let him get off scot free.
Now that he has become a massive success, he said he always wanted to do right when he dropped by the same store in Hawaii.
Most recently, he went on to clear out the whole Snickers section to atone for his childhood sin. While he was at it, he also picked up the bill of everyone who dropped by the store to pick up what they needed.
“I’ve exorcised a few big demons over the years (I still have a few left;) so I know this one seems VERY SILLY, but every time I come back home to Hawaii and drive by 7-11…I always knew I needed to go in and clean out every Snickers bar they had – the right way,” he said.
