Filipino-American Justin delos Santos earned his spot at the Golf Nippon Series JT Cup by placing eighth in the Casio World Open at the Kochi Kuroshio Country Club in Kochi, Japan.
Delos Santos, 27, received a check worth 5,252,000 Yen (about P2 million) after closing out with a 67 and 19-under total. Juvic Pagunsan finished tied for 54th.
The season-ending Golf Nippon Series, one of the biggest tournaments on the Japan Golf Tour, will be played in Tokyo, Japan next week.
