Seven Philippine companies controlled by some of the country’s richest families landed on Forbes magazine’s 2022 World’s Best Employers list.
Bilyonaryo Tony Tan Caktiong’s Jollibee Group ranked the highest among the seven Filipino companies, coming in at 106th. It was followed by bilyonaryo Ramon Ang-led San Miguel Food and Beverage at the 174th spot.
Conglomerate Ayala Corp. came in next, ranking 581st, followed by the Sy family’s SM Investments Corp. at 605th place.
The Ty family’s Metrobank clinched the 637th spot, while Andrew Tan’s Alliance Global Group came in at 688th place. Aboitiz Equity Ventures ranked 740th.
Forbes has partnered with market research company Statista to survey 150,000 full-time and part-time workers from 57 countries working for multinational companies and institutions to determine which ones excel in corporate impact and image, talent development, gender equality and social responsibility.
