Filam Golf lures 77 foreign teams

Baguio–The Fil-Am Men’s Golf Invitational has drawn a total of 1,300 participants representing 240 teams for this year’s tournament, according to the organizers.

Out of the total, 77 are squads from abroad who will be competing for both the regular and Seniors matches.

The foreigners will come from the US, Australia, South Korea, Japan, Guam, Hawaii and Canada.

Organizers, led by BCC general manager Anthony de Leon and CJH GM Jude Eustaquio, are happy to see these international golfers again.

The two-week event is held in partnership with the Baguio Country Club, Camp John Hay Golf Club, The Manor, The Forest Lodge, and Le Chef.

The Seniors match is set from November 26 to December 1.

Decena top Camp Aguinaldo year-end tournament

Lieutenant Colonel Mark Ruby and Captain Joseph Decena, both from the Philippine Army, won the low gross and low net championship titles, respectively, in the year-end tournament of the Camp Aguinaldo Golf Club in Quezon City.
