It’s Rianne versus Harmie for the Match Play crown

Multi-titled Rianne Malixi and Harmie Constantino will vie for the ICTSI Match Play title after breezing through their respective semifinal assignments at the Villamor Golf Club in Pasay.

Malixi fashioned out a 6 & 4 victory over Marvi Monsalve while the second-ranked Constantino scooted past Chihiro Ikeda, 3 & 2, in their own duel in this novelty championship put up by the International Container Terminal Services Inc. to conclude the 2022 Ladies Philippine Golf Tour season.

Constantino and Malixi go head-to-head for the title worth P280,000 for the pro at 9:10 a.m. with Ikeda and Monsalve battling for third at 8:30 a.m.

Malixi said she would need to focus on her speed and putting against Constanitno. “I will try to adjust to my club positions.”

“My drives weren’t really going where I wanted them to go,” said Constantino, who marked her pro debut with two victories, both at Eagle Ridge-Aoki, last year.
