WAGC PH golfers tee off in Malaysia

The World Amateur Golfers Championship fires off today with five Filipinos geared up to conquer the international event in different courses in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Denden de. Castro will be at the forefront of the PH campaign in the main WAGC play. He will be with Venice Ngo, Anna Kei Fernandez, Eric Yalung and Gen. Abraham Rojas, the playing captain.

In the Invitational, the country will have Batangas Vice Governor Marc Leviste, Ron in Leviste, Vicky Herrera, Blake Go, Rico See, Joy Bagalayos, Charlie Gaite and Errol Chua.

The Filipino contingent of WAGC Philippines is powered by Golf Batangas, Golf.PH and G&W Clubshares Inc.

Decena top Camp Aguinaldo year-end tournament

Lieutenant Colonel Mark Ruby and Captain Joseph Decena, both from the Philippine Army, won the low gross and low net championship titles, respectively, in the year-end tournament of the Camp Aguinaldo Golf Club in Quezon City.
