Ty-blings, DenGrace Uy, MVP, Villar stocks get the ax from MSCI

Five bilyonaryo stocks got cut in the semi-annual rebalancing the Morgan Stanley Capital International Philippines Index.

MSCI reported that GT Capital Holdings (GTCAP) of the Ty family, Converge ICT (CNVRG) of Dennis Anthony and Grace Uy, and Metro Pacific Investments (MPI) led by Manny V. Pangilinan were dropped from the global standard index.

The three were added to the global small cap index.

Manny Villar’s All Home (HOME) and Vista Land & Lifescapes (VLL) were deleted from the small cap index.

The changes will take effect on November 30.

ERC to look into complaints of overcharging by power firms
