De La Salle College of Saint Benilde Blazers’ coach Charles Tiu immediately shared on Instagram that he’s doing okay after violence happened during last Tuesday’s basketball game.
John Amores of the JRU team attacked some of Charles’ players and threw punches on them while the game was ongoing.
Media outlets reached out to Charles for comment. He said that he’s glad his team did not fight back. They were just trying to play basketball, according to Charles, who found the incident, “unfortunate.”
He thanked everyone for their kind messages of support and went on watching, “Manifest,” a Netflix series that he’s currently hooked on.
