Bilyonaryo Lance Gokongwei penned a tribute to his father, JG Summit Holdings founder John Gokongwei, Jr., to mark his death anniversary.
The president and CEO of the family conglomerate dug up an old photo of them together in what looks like a school ceremony, a marker of fond memories as an unico hijo.
“Remembering Dad. John Gokongwei, Jr,” Lance wrote on Wednesday, November 9 to mark his third death anniversary. “He taught me love of family, love of work, love of country.”
Big John died in 2019 at the age of 93, leaving brands and businesses to his children.
