For bosses only: Manila Golf bans members’ backup cars from parking lot

Metro Manila’s elite are resorting to drastic measures to solve Manila Golf & Country Club’s worsening parking problem.

The Philippine Daily Inquirer reports that the highly exclusive golf club has banned backup vehicles that its members use for their security detail from entering and parking within the club’s Makati compound.

The move was made in response to complaints from some VIP members, who have been grumbling about the lack of parking space due to the backup vehicles parked by those who came ahead of them.

Per club rules, only President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is exempted from this rule should he decide to do a round of golf there, with members of the Presidential Security Group allowed to park inside the complex and accompany him inside the premises.

Manila Golf earlier banned security personnel from entering and tailing their principal around club premises.
