Camp John Hay goes spooky, hosts Halloween golf

The Camp John Hay Golf Club’s course may not be as long as a regular par-72 layout but it sure did look spooky at least for half a day as the club held its annual Halloween golf tournament in Baguio City.

Parts of the fairways were transformed into cemetery settings while the specific areas inside the clubhouse were designed with anything scary brought about by creative minds of the club staff.

What made it more fun was the fact that some players and their kids as well as other staff members wore costumes to make the mini event livelier.

“So aside from fun, our club became a picture of how Halloween should be. Our members and guests did enjoy what we presented to them,” said CJHGC general manager Jude Eustaquio.

At the end of the 18-hole tournament, the winners were: Ranz Balay-Odao and Kyruz Pasiwen (Grooup I), Jeremeiah Guanso and Chaharo Galeng (Group II) and Vincent Baladdan and Jackson Pongtan (Group III).
