Good pals and friendly rivals Angelo Que and Tony Lascuna are at it again, each producing a three-under 69 at the start of the ICTSI Pradera Championship held at the Pradera Verde Golf Club in Pampanga.
Que, a three-time winner of the Asian Tour, banked on his length and putting to string a 34-35 card while Lascuna forged ahead with his trusted 3-wood and irons for 36-33.
Ageless warrior Frankie Miñoza showed vintage form to score a 70, the same as former Philippine Open champ Gerald Rosales, Mars Pucay and amateur Elee Bisera.
“I had a good day, putted well, hit a few bad shots but was able to recover pretty good,” said Que.
“The course is too long for me and the greens are also tough. But I was able to hit five birdies against two bogeys. So, I’m very happy,” Lascuna said.
