The bilyonaryo Sy family came out in full force to support SM Foundation’s partnership with the University of Santo Tomas.
Sy-blings Tessie and Big Boy led the signing of an agreement to support the construction of a seven-story state-of-the-art building to provide a venue for medical students to obtain higher, research-based learning on the country’s health challenges.
Named after the late founder of the SM Group, the Henry Sy Sr Hall will house the Sts. Cosmas and Damian Research and Simulation Building.
According to the university, the new building will provide “state-of-the-art training to the Thomasian family’s future physicians.”
Also present during the MOA signing were Harley and Elizabeth Sy.
