Hulugan pero at least bayad! Loss-making Air Asia agrees to settle P17M in unpaid meals of its staff and crew to Figaro Group

Figaro Coffee Group (FCG) of bilyonaryo Jerry Liu is finally getting paid for the P16.746 million meals it supplied to Philippine Air Asia.

FCG, through Figaro coffee Systems Inc., reported that Air Asia agreed to pay P1 million a month from January 2022 to July 2023.

FCG signed an agreement with Air Asia in July 2017 to supply meals and food products for the no-frills airline’s crew and employees.

FCG filed a case against Air Asia in July 2021 after the budget airline refused to pay up. The case did not go beyond the pretrial stage as Air Asia agreed to a settlement agreement.
