Diehard Eraserheads fans might have to crack their piggybanks open to get as close as possible to their idols in their much awaited reunion concert on December 22.
Organizers recently posted the ticket prices to the band’s “Huling El Bimbo” concert, which will be held at the MDC Festival Grounds in Parañaque City.
OPM band Eraserheads surely knows their importance as a Pinoy pop culture icon as they gear up for a long-awaited reunion concert.
The cheapest ticket costs P3,050 while those who want to be in the moshpit nearest to the stage will have to shell out P17,260 for the premium tickets.
Tickets in the VIP and Platinum areas are priced at 14,610 and P12,180, respectively. Fans who have less than P10,000 can snap up the Gold ticket that cost P9,740 or the Silver ticket priced at P5,480.
Fans of the ’90s rock band are heartbroken, especially when compared to tickets from their 2008 concert which was cut short after vocalist Ely Buendia suffered from a heart condition onstage. Tickets then were only between P300 to P5,000 per head.

Some Eraserheads fans resorted to humor, quoting the band’s songs to reflect their sentiment about the pricey tickets.
