Ultra bilyonaryo Lance Gokongwei has recruited Procter & Gamble Philippines highest ranking Filipina, Evelyn Chua-Ng to beef up the C-suite of his family’s food conglomerate.
Gokongwei appointed Chua-Ng as the new chief financial officer of Universal Robina Corp. (URC) starting October 1.
She was the CFP of P&G Philippines from 2012 to 2016 and most recently, P&G vice president comptroller for Asia, Middle East and Africa and P&G VP for Asia Pacific tax operations.
She graduated Summa Cum Laude and Valedictorian from the University of the Philippines and topped the Certified Public Accountants Board exam.
Chua-Ng has spent more than two decades with P&G Philippines, Singapore, and Greater China.

Chua-Ng will replace Francisco M. Del Mundo who has been named chief investments, strategy and corporate services officer handling the books of personal cleansing, skin care, cosmetics, baby care, and oral care.
URC former chief strategy officer Shanie Ann S. Kawpeng has been appointed managing director for snack food while remaining as digital transformation officer.
