Small business owner claims Food Panda’s excessive charges are hurting SMEs

A restaurant operator has aired her complaints against Food Panda for not only imposing excessive deductions but also for their poor customer service.

Facebook user Karen Ann from Selvas Cafe said that out of their P450 sales, they were only paid P38 by the delivery service. She posted a list of the weekly deductions for the use of the platform which basically ate up its sales.

Karen Ann appealed to customers to support small business owners by directly ordering from their social media pages instead since the delivery service is not helping them grow their business.

In the comments section, customers also expressed dismay and compared Food Panda service charges to their competitors. The post has been shared over 2,800 times and gained the support of close to 4,000 netizens.
