#Blessed! Toni Gonzaga lands Shopee endorsement deal after signing with Manny Villar’s AllTV

Toni Gonzaga appears to have become a sought after talent and endorser despite her public support for President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., ignoring the “cancel culture” that at one point affected her career.

Gonzaga on Thursday (September 29) was revealed as the newest brand ambassador of online shopping platform Shopee.

During the media event, Gonzaga said she felt “very grateful” and “blessed” for the opportunity, calling herself an avid Shopee customer herself.

Controversy hounded Gonzaga’s revelation as Shopee’s new endorser, with netizens bashing the platform’s choice when it teased her identity Wednesday (September 28). Several shoppers threatened to boycott the app and even uninstall it from their phones.

While Shopee stuck with its choice of Gonzaga as a brand ambassador, it appeared to have opted for a muted face reveal following the backlash. At 3 p.m. — the promised time — their Facebook page did not have a trace of Gonzaga’s face and instead aired a live demonstration of a coffee maker.

Earlier this month, Gonzaga was announced as one of the exclusive contract stars of ultra bilyonaryo Manny Villar’s fledgling television network, AllTV.

Is it coincidence, or Gonzaga likes to work with “orange” brands?
