Cesar Romero gest snags third board seat 10 months after leaving Shell

The Aboitizes have appointed former Pilipinas Shell Petroleum president and CEO Cesar Romero as a new director of the family’s power unit.

Romero will start as independent director of Aboitiz Power on October 1.

He will fill the vacancy left by Raphael Lotilla who resigned last July after President Bongbong Marcos chose him as his Energy Secretary.

This will be the third directorship of Romero since leaving Shell in November 2021.

He was appointed director of AP’s parent, Aboitiz Equity Ventures, last February and Robinsons Retail Holdings last month.

Opec+ likely to maintain oil output levels
