Juvic Pagunsan finishes joint fifth at Panasonic Open

Juvic Pagunsan signed for a four-under 68 to capture a share of fifth place at the Panasonic Open Golf Championship in Ibaraki, Japan Sunday.

Pagunsan birdied three of the last four holes for a great finish of 271.

The 44-year-old shotmaker jumped from 10th to top 5 that earned the Bacolod native close to P2 million.

Taiga Semikawa, an amateur from Japan, surprised everyone with his superb play as he shot a 65 for a one shot victory at the Ibaraki Country Club. He tallied 266 in four days.
