Tastes like home: Marcos tries out  Pinoy food truck in NYC

Instead of going to a posh restaurant in New York, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. stopped by two food trucks in the Big Apple to get a taste of Filipino food.

Marcos and his entourage had lunch consisting of bulalo, pansit, lumpia and pork barbecue for the meal, much to the delight of the Pinoy cooks and owners who prepared their mini feast by the sidewalk.

The President was in New York for a six-day working visit with several Cabinet Secretaries and four members of his family.

He is expected to return to Manila this weekend following a fruitful trip, which was highlighted by a meeting with US President Joe Biden and a speech at the 77th United Nations General Assembly.
