Finding ways: BDO puts up remittance center in Jordan

BDO is expanding the reach of its remittance business by putting up a remittance center in Amman, the capital city of Jordan.

Business columnist Vic Agustin said the BDO Remit branch is located right beside the branch of Zamzam Exchange, which is the bank’s long-time remittance partner in Jordan.

Filipinos in Amman could easily recognize BDO Remit’s yellow logo, which is displayed with Arabic text.

Agustin said BDO corporate communications chief Honey Madrilejos-Reyes confirmed that the remittance center is connected with the Sy-blings’ bank.

It seems that the Sy-blings saw the opportunity to further grow their remittance business unit in the Middle East, where thousands of overseas Filipino workers are based.
