President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos had the privilege to ring the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange.
With him were wife Liza and son Sandro, cousin and House Speaker Martin Romualdez, and Finance Secretary Benjamin Diokno. They were joined by NYSE vice chair and Chief Commercial Officer John Tuttle.
Afterwards, they took photos along with other members of his visiting party including Ambassador Joey Antonio, Secretary Philip Medalla, Secretary Ivan Uy, Secretary Arsi Balisacan, APEC Chair Noel Onate and Atty. Mike Toledo.
In an Instagram post, the President shared his optimism for more collaborative opportunities with the private sector in the United States—all for the ultimate goal of ensuring a more inclusive future for the Philippines.
