Birth pains: Debut of Manny Villar’s AllTV fails to excite netizens

Ultra bilyonaryo Manny Villar’s AllTV channel went live beginning Tuesday, September 13 featuring Toni Gonzaga and Willie Revillame as its biggest stars.

Select shows and performances are now streaming via the Advanced Media Broadcasting System (AMBS), which now occupies frequencies taken away from ABS-CBN since it lost its franchise.

Online comments, however, have been far from kind. Many think Villar’s media foray remains underwhelming to date.

Some likened dance numbers to a barangay Christmas party, while the shaky camera didn’t help either.

Others, however, took note of Gonzaga’s exclusive interview with President Bongbong Marcos which aired on AllTV’s first day.
