Boycott Delimondo? Robredo’s ex-abogado says corned beef too tasty to snub

An election lawyer who used to represent former Vice President Leni Robredo in the election protest filed by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has tried to knock some sense into the “Kakampinks” calling for a boycott of the Enrile-owned Delimondo corned beef.

Abogado Emil Marañon said Delimondo corned beef is tasty after Robredo’s supporters urged others to stop buying Delimondo corned beef since its owners are Marcos supporters.

“Boycott or cancel niyo ang Delimondo dahil sa prinsipyo, pero huwag niyo namang sabihing ‘hindi masarap’ kasi deep inside alam nating lahat na hindi totoo,” he tweeted.

“Family favorite, but not anymore. If they can choose whom to support, we can too,” another said.

Calls for the boycott of Delimondo corned beef began after a Kakampink found an old Bilyonaryo article about food company CDO sponsoring 8 tons of meat products for the Leni-Kiko rally in Batangas during the May 9 campaign season.
